Driver, 19, banned following dangerous driving incident in Fleet

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

A teenager has been banned from driving for three years after he drove through red lights and travelled on the wrong side of the road in Fleet.

Harrison Alderton, 19, of Mariners Way, Ilfracombe, Devon, also drove the VW Golf the wrong way around a roundabout on Wednesday 22 October last year.

Officers attempted to stop the car, but Alderton travelled at excessive speeds before eventually coming to a stop.
